RUSS is recruiting Trustees!
We’re looking for new trustees with a range of experience and skills to help lead the organisation in the exciting next phase of its development. We’re seeking Trustees who can play an effective governance role for RUSS and be able to devote enough time to help develop strategy and operations. Trustee roles are unpaid.

As a community membership organisation, we believe that our board should be representative of the community we serve. We’re keen to have a diverse board and welcome applications from all walks of life; age and experience is not as important as enthusiasm and commitment. To help our organisational development we’re particularly looking for Trustees who have professional expertise in legal, finance management and fundraising, in addition to applications from those with more general skills or experience.
We envisage appointing up to five new Trustees including in the following two roles:
·      Treasurer – working closely with RUSS’s accountants to monitor and present financial reports to the board and establish a Finance and Audit Sub-Committee.
·      Secretary – to oversee regulatory returns, compliance with the rulebook and organisation and servicing of meetings.
