Each project has a personality, a difference in approach that reflects the people who designed, built and occupy it. The earliest, Sanford Housing Co-op, was started in 1974, creating 125 rental homes. Lewisham Phases 1 and 2, and Fusion 1, 2 and 3 saw the self-building of new homes for rent and sale during the 80’s and 90’s. 21st century Lewisham projects are in the making – 44 new homes will start on site this year at Church Grove and Brasted Close.
Are these replicable models for the future?
