Hiring the Hub

To book the hub please make sure you have the relevant discount codes from below, then visit our booking page [external URL] here: Hub booking page

The Hub is on one level and fully accessible for wheelchair users. The multi-use space can accommodate up to 30 people (seated) for events like meetings, talks and small conferences. For stand-up functions the venue can accommodate 45 people.

Superfast broadband is included in the hire fee, along with access to a projector and screen, small kitchen (equipped with microwave, fridge, kettle, electric hot water urn and crockery), heat and light.

Available times for hire:

• Monday to Friday 8am – 9pm 
• Saturday 9am – 9pm
• Sunday 10am – 5pm

Planning conditions mean we cannot hire the space out at other times.

Discounts are available for Local and community groups, get in touch to discuss.
All venue hire must be paid in advance and in full.

Who is eligible for discounts?

Discounted events must be of benefit to the Lewisham community events which we define as groups offering social/educational activities open to the local community and/or groups actively working for positive social/environmental change. 

This is in line with the RUSS principle of creating socially, environmentally and economically sustainable neighbourhoods.

Community rate – 30% off – use code Comm30

• Event is of benefit to the Lewisham community
• Run by an organisation with income of less than £50,000 p.a.
• Events will usually be free or on a voluntary donation basis (if charging a fee to attend you must have a published policy for discounts for those on low incomes)

Grassroots rate – 60% off – use code Groots60

• Event is of benefit to the Lewisham community
• Run by an organisation with an income of less than £10,000 p.a.
• Volunteer-led
• Events should be free for participants, or on a voluntary donation basis

Residents, trustees, and longer term bookings (10 bookings per year) have additional discount codes – please email us on hub@theruss.org or check the residents whatsapp for more information.

Using a Discount Code?

If you’re eligible for a discount (including the Residents/Trustee discount):

1. Save your discount code.
2. Click to book through the Hub booking page.
3. When you reach the payment screen, you’ll see a box to enter your code.
4. Enter the code — your discount will be applied automatically!
